For indefinite employment, you can resign 2 weeks after notice without employer consent (Civil Code Art. 627(1)). "You can't quit" violates resignation freedom and may constitute coercion (Criminal Code Art. 223). Damage claims for normal resignation almost never succeed. Exception: abandoning critical duties causing specific harm. Send resignation via registered mail with delivery confirmation. Resignation services are also an option.
