Work beyond original specs constitutes a new contract. Whether under contract for work (Art. 632) or quasi-mandate (Art. 648), you have the right to additional compensation. The Freelance Protection Act (2024) requires clients to specify work content and fees in writing (Art. 3) and prohibits unilateral disadvantageous changes (Art. 5). Get written agreement on additions, or consult the Fair Trade Commission.
