Adultery (Art. 770(1)(i)) generally requires sexual relations. App conversations alone may not qualify, but sexually explicit messages or evidence of meetings can establish adultery. Even without meeting, it may constitute "grave reasons for marriage breakdown" (Art. 770(1)(v)). Compensation in such cases is ¥500K-1.5M. Preserve screenshots of the app and messages as evidence.
