Delivery workers can join workers' comp via special enrollment. Without it, use Uber's compensation or other party's insurance.

Since September 2021, food delivery workers can join workers' comp via the "special enrollment" system. If enrolled, you receive benefits for work accidents. If not enrolled: claim against the other party's auto insurance, use Uber's partner injury compensation, or your own accident insurance. If substantively an employee, regular workers' comp may apply.
