AI outsourcing contracts must specify ownership of training data, trained models, and outputs. Without explicit terms, copyright belongs to the creator/contractor (Copyright Act Art. 17(1)). Follow METI's "AI/Data Usage Contract Guidelines" (2022) to define rights for: datasets, trained models, inference outputs, and reuse/repurposing. If already contracted, execute an amendment promptly.
